The Alice Chair by Giovannetti was designed by the Space Time project headed by Enrico Buscemi and Piergiorgio Leone in 2005. The soft lines and round corners offer a thin and comfortable design, suitable for any environment in a simple and elegant way. It has a minimalist steel rod structure and a padded seat, with a removable cover.
Enrico Buscemi and Piergiorgio Leone specialized in 'Corporate Strategic Design and Innovation' at the Domus Academy in Milan with a focus on architecture, interior design, and product design. They have collaborated with Giovannetti Collezioni, SpHaus, Arredaesse, Mitomi Jewels, Levi's, and Safilo on various consumer products. "When we design a product we know today it has to go to meet a set of needs, desires, and functions. Pieces must be well designed, work well, but should also play with the emotions, capture the energy, it becomes a small object of desire. So we put together in the project what we love: simple shapes, clean lines, pure volumes, the architecture, but also the game, poetry, sometimes the irony, trying to give objects a compositional clarity"
Their work has been published in magazines such as Octagon, Interior, GdA International, car progress, Casamica, Case da Abitare.
