Designed in 1994, the Hermann Czech Bentwood Side Chair by GTV represents the turning point of modern furniture towards the passion of reminiscent and intimacy: a contemporary design that evokes memories of times gone by.  An ideal way of maintaining continuity with the late 19th-century Thonet style. The Bentwood Czech Chair adapts the harmony of steam-bent beechwood to its pure and abstract design, which is further enhanced by various finishes.  Solid and hard-wearing, the Hermann Czech Bentwood Side Chair is also available in an upholstered version, or with or without armrests.  The bentwood frame is curved from a single piece of wood, and supported by an arched structure giving it greater stability.
