This redesign of the traditional Mackintosh Gateleg Table into a folding/extending dining table was allegedly conceived for the country home of W. J. Basset Lowke, who apparently rejected the design. This Mackintosh Gateleg Table was never produced during his lifetime. With its Mackintosh good looks and versatility, it is a great table for apartment dwellers or others who need multiple uses from single pieces.
